the visual spectrum crosses a wide variety of forms we practice at control apparatus. most recently was an illustration study using pen and ink.
i have been involved with art since i was old enough to hold a pencil. i work with charcoal, ink, and acrylic paint. i will update this section when i get the free time. a side note, i am utilizing lightbox to view my images. when you click on a thumbnail lightbox will load the image in the middle of the page. if you mouse over the right or left side and a next or previous should show up. additionally, there is an exit button on bottom, or you can just click back on the page to get the page loaded again.
i had a very interesting eastern art history class last semester and have been working with eastern art a lot at the slide library, so it is natural that i have been sketching some of the artwork i look at.
after my summer illustration class i began working more with the dipping pen and india ink. to get some of the wild line making i blew on the ink and at times utilized the canned air computer duster thing... but i don't recommend using that in a small closed off drawing space... the fumes can be... harmful.
this is some older stuff. some ink illustrations were colored with photoshop.
charcoal is one of my favorite drawing mediums. i have drawn a ridiculous amount of charcoals in my lifetime. here are a few of my favorites.
more art will be coming soon.
if you are REALLY bored you can read notes about Point Beer and ecommerce and marketing i took in class this summer.
